Real Reviews. Real People. Real Pet Guests. Meet Rambo.
Where Is the Best Dog Boarding in Las Vegas?
Just ask Rambo. LV Dog Hotel, winner of the 1% Award for Best Pet Service in Las Vegas 2026, has been his home away from home for four years.
Rambo is a 12-year-old Miniature Pinscher, and he has been one of the brightest personalities at LV Dog Hotel, a luxury dog boarding hotel in Las Vegas, since September 26, 2022. Sassy, social, and always dressed to the nines in his jewel collar, Rambo is proof that the best dog boarding reviews in Las Vegas don’t always come in writing. Sometimes they come with a wagging tail at the front door.
Meet Rambo
Rambo was born on April 24, 2014. At 12 years old, he’s what our team lovingly calls an older baby: a senior dog with the heart of a puppy and the confidence of a small dog who knows exactly how fabulous he is.
Miniature Pinschers are famous for their big personalities, and Rambo is no exception. He’s alert, spirited, and a little bit sassy at times. Ask anyone on our staff and they’ll tell you that sass is the funniest thing about him. He has opinions, and he isn’t afraid to share them.
The Sassiest Guest With the Sweetest Heart
Here’s the surprise: for all his attitude, Rambo is one of the most easygoing dogs we’ve ever cared for. Behind the sass, he’s pure sweetness.
He’s never in a bad mood. From check-in to checkout, Rambo is happy-go-lucky. He greets our staff like old friends, welcomes new faces without hesitation, and treats every day at the hotel like a celebration. He loves everybody, and there’s no one Rambo won’t make friends with.
Rambo's Favorite Things: Playtime and Friends
If Rambo had a résumé, “plays well with others” would be at the top. His ability to play with any dog is one of our favorite things about him. Energetic pups, shy newcomers, and fellow seniors all get the same easygoing Rambo welcome.
In our dog daycare play groups, he’s the friend every new guest needs. Nervous first-timers relax around him, and high-energy pups find a willing playmate. When playtime winds down, Rambo is happy to head back to his private suite for a well-earned nap.
Dressed to the Nines in His Jewel Collar
No Rambo story is complete without the collar. Rambo never arrives underdressed. His sparkling jewel collar is his signature look, and he wears it with the confidence of a true Las Vegas VIP. In a city known for its style, Rambo fits right in.
Senior Dog Boarding in Las Vegas: Why Rambo Keeps Coming Back
Rambo was eight years old at his first stay with us, and he’s still coming back at 12. When it comes to senior dog boarding in Las Vegas, that kind of loyalty says everything. Older dogs need comfort, routine, and a quiet place to rest, and Rambo gets all three.
Like every guest at LV Dog Hotel, Rambo stays in a private suite, never a cage or kennel run. Meals, snacks, bedding, medication administration, and a bath before pickup are all part of his stay, so his family knows he’s covered from head to paw.
Happy Four-Year Anniversary, Rambo!
September 26, 2026, marks four years since Rambo’s first stay at LV Dog Hotel. That’s four years of playtime, new friends, and one very fabulous jewel collar. Thank you to Rambo’s family for trusting us with your sassy, sweet, older baby. Rambo, we can’t wait to see you at your next stay.
